Jeanette Davies MARLA

Originally from Essex, Jeanette commenced employment working for a large sportswear brand in varying senior financial positions, her expertise is working with start up companies and she worked for a venture capital company in the city for over 2 years helping and advising start up business to flotation. After selling property in an exclusive area of Spain she returned to the UK and joined Buy the House in 2005 as Operations Manager. In 2008 she joined Rent the House as Director and the business has since grown over 40%.

Jeanette passed her NFOPP Level 3 Award in Residential Letting & Property Management in 2009 and is a member of ARLA (Association of Residential Letting Agents), and NALS (National Approved Letting Scheme). Jeanette is currently studying for Level 4 Award in Residential Letting & Property Management.

Lorraine Bolton

Born in Bromley Cross, Lorraine joined Rent the House in 2007 and is in charge of all accounts and accounting procedures. Lorraine’s expertise is in a strong finance role, she has worked for 4 years at a needlework company in accounts, 7 years in a employment agency dealing in payroll, accounts and office management, 26 years as Office Manager Accounts in a leading carpet company

Pippa Elkins

Originally from Wiltshire, Pippa has worked in the property rental business since 1988 in varying roles around the UK.

Pippa joined Rent the House in 2008, primarily within the maintenance department. Pippa has since been promoted through the company and is the office based manager. Pippa has a methodical and structured approach to administration and this is evident in the smooth running of the office.

Pippa passed her NFOPP Level 3 Award in Residential Letting & Property Management in 2010 and is currently studying for NVQ Level 3 in senior management.

Ashleigh Shorrock

Born in Oswaldtwistle, Ashleigh joined Buy the House in 2005 in a junior role and has since been promoted to various customer service related positions. She joined Rent the House in 2007 and her expertise is in sales. negotiating and customer service.

Ashleigh passed her NFOPP Level 3 Award in Residential Letting & Property Management in 2011, and has passed NVQ level 2 in administration and advanced customer service

Sophie Hargreaves

Born in Rishton, Sophie joined Rent the House in March 2009 as a young apprentice studying for a NVQ level 2 in business administration, once completed Sophie was taken on full time and then continued and passed her NVQ level 3 in business administration. Sophie has continued to grow within the company and is now responsible for organising gas safety certificates and property inspections. Sophie has excellent customer service skills and is currently being trained in property checks as well

Kenny Sharples

Born in Huncoat, Kenny joined Rent the House in October 2011. Kenny has worked for a large corporate kitchen company for over 6 years. Kenny’s main role is running our maintenance section and he brings a wealth of knowledge in organising contractors and obtaining the best deals for our landlords.

Sarah Haworth

Born in Clayton le Moors, Sarah joined Rent the House in January 2011 she is our Saturday worker and also covers holidays, Sarah is currently studying M- law at University.
